Due to retirement, Anselmo-Merna Public School is currently accepting applications for an Agriculture Instructor for the 2026/2027 school year. Primary responsibilities would include Agriculture Education and FFA advisor responsibilities. Anselmo- Merna Public School is located in Merna Nebraska. Student enrollment is currently 245 inside the P-12 building, and the school district was recently recognized as “Excellent” by Nebraska AQuESTT ratings. Base salary for 26-27 step 0 is $41,000. Anselmo Merna Public School takes great pride in its supportive community, dedicated educators, and focus on student outcomes. The Anselmo-Merna School boasts a highly competitive base salary and an outstanding quality of life. A valid NE teaching certificate is required with applicable endorsement is desired, but not required. Anselmo-Merna accepts all years of teaching experience for movement on the salary scale. Teachers receive up to full family BCBS insurance and have 13 leave days each year and can be banked up to 40 days and are allowed 3 professional days per year. Anselmo Merna Public School also provides professional development aligned with school improvement goals to all of its staff and is supported through ESU 10.
