Job Title: Appian Software Developer - 100% Remote

Work Setting: 100% Remote and able to work EST business hours

Position Type: 40-HR work week / 9 - 12+ month project / Contract

Compensation: $44 - 68 - 88/HR (Depending on work experience)

Job Summary: APPIAN Software Development contract will design and specify information systems solutions to solve problems for technical projects. Evaluate client requirements and processes, develops and prepares application environments which may involve diverse development platforms, software, hardware, technologies and tools.

Appian SW Developer's work responsibilities:

• Appian development and IT project delivery abilities
• Currently working on Appian's 18.x or higher supported versions
• Work in a team environment yet complete individual projects
• Support application post-deployment and analysis triaging and resolving issues
• Develop plans for unit, functional, load, and smoke testings
• Complete complex systems, analysis, design, and development
• Assist developers, operations staff, and technical teams throughout project phases
• Prepare and execute testing plans and debugging needs
• Interact with technical stakeholders, personnel, clients, and outside vendors
• Update systems documents, prepare charts, tables, and diagrams to analyze technical problems
• Recommend new technologies and processes and resolve deficiencies

Education & Work Experience required:

• AS degree in IT related field and 5 years systems analysis/application development experience, or in lieu of a degree, 7 years of higher education and/or work experience and 5 years of systems analysis & application development
• 5 years' experience of Appian software development
• Appian Lead Developer, Level 2 certification
• 4 years of demonstrated Appian project delivery
• Applications development and hardware troubleshooting
• Able to manage multiple, complex technical projects
• Managing work between Appian applications and Business Units
• Application supporting application post-deployment and analysis
• Integrations experience, ie: Web API, Restful, SOAP

Education & Work Experience preferred:

• BS degree in IT related field
• Appian 18.x or higher version experience
• Banking application framework

Job Types: Full-time, Contract, Temporary

Salary: $44.00 - $88.00 per hour
