As a Armed Security Officer - Lobby Guard in Reno NV you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer at a government location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents and interact professionally with the this role you will support a caring team culture built on agility reliability innovation and integrity while delivering exceptional customer service and communication.

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors staff and/or the public by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents disturbances and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observed conditions and notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings grounds parking areas and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials authorizations and/or entry permissions in accordance with site procedures and post orders.
• Support public-facing operations by observing and reporting hazards policy violations and/or unusual activity while maintaining a professional presence during assigned shifts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• An armed guard card/license is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
