This role involves setting up and operating CNC vertical lathe machines to perform precision turning, drilling, milling, and part-complete operations. You will optimize machine performance, ensure parts meet strict specifications and tolerances, and support both high- and low-volume production in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Work Environment
This position is based in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment where CNC vertical lathes and multi-axis machines are in regular use. You will work around production equipment and precision measuring tools such as calipers and gauges, and you will frequently handle setup, operation, and inspection tasks at the machines. The facility emphasizes a strong team culture, with coordinated uniforms provided after conversion to full-time employment, creating a cohesive and professional appearance across the workforce. Steel-toe footwear is required, and employees receive support to obtain appropriate safety shoes. The environment is fast-paced and production-oriented, requiring consistent adherence to safety, quality, and inspection procedures while working closely with supervisors, programmers, and quality personnel.
