Job Title: Course Creation Virtual Assistant

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Course Creation Virtual Assistant to support the development, formatting, and setup of online courses. The ideal candidate will have proven experience working with Teachable and be comfortable organizing educational content, creating learning materials, and managing course platforms.

This role requires a combination of instructional organization, content formatting, visual presentation, and platform management skills. Experience with AI tools for content development is highly desirable.

IMPORTANT REQUIREMENT

Teachable Experience is Mandatory

Applicants must have hands-on experience with Teachable and be able to demonstrate previous experience uploading, organizing, and managing online courses within the platform.

Candidates without Teachable experience will not be considered for this role.

Experience with Skool is a plus, but is not required.

Key Responsibilities

Course Planning & Organization

• Assist with course planning and curriculum organization..

• Structure course modules and lessons..

• Organize content into a logical and engaging learning journey..

• Create lesson objectives and learning outcomes..

• Develop lesson checklists and student action items..

Content Formatting & Learning Materials

• Format workbooks, worksheets, guides, and handouts..

• Create lesson summaries and supporting materials..

• Organize downloadable resources and PDFs..

• Ensure all materials are professionally formatted and branded..

Presentation & Visual Design

• Create course slide decks using Canva and/or PowerPoint..

• Design visually appealing learning materials..

• Add branding elements, graphics, icons, and visual assets..

• Maintain consistency across all course materials..

Course Platform Management (Teachable)

• Upload course content to Teachable..

• Organize modules, lessons, and downloadable resources..

• Configure course structure and student learning pathways..

• Perform quality assurance checks to ensure a smooth student experience..

• Maintain and update course content as needed..

AI-Assisted Content Development

• Use AI tools to help transform existing content into structured course materials..

• Convert blogs, articles, or existing content into course modules..

• Draft worksheets and student exercises..

• Generate quiz questions and assessments..

• Create lesson summaries and learning resources..

• Support content repurposing initiatives..

Additional Responsibilities

• Review content for consistency and clarity..

• Identify opportunities to improve learner engagement..

• Assist with ongoing course updates and improvements..

Required Qualifications

• Proven hands-on experience with Teachable (Required)..

• Experience creating and organizing online courses..

• Strong content organization and instructional design skills..

• Experience creating slide presentations in Canva and/or PowerPoint..

• Excellent written English and attention to detail..

• Ability to organize complex information into structured learning experiences..

• Strong project management and time management skills..

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines..

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Skool (Preferred but not required)..

• Experience supporting coaches, consultants, educators, or course creators..

• Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or similar..

• Experience creating worksheets, quizzes, and learning resources..

• Basic graphic design experience..

• Understanding of adult learning principles and online education best practices..

• Courses are properly structured and organized..

• Learning materials are professionally formatted and branded..

• Course content is uploaded accurately in Teachable..

• Modules, lessons, and resources are easy for students to navigate..

• Deadlines are consistently met..

• Positive feedback from Cheryl regarding organization, quality, and execution..

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and experienced in online course creation. They should be comfortable taking raw content and transforming it into a structured, engaging learning experience while ensuring that all materials are professionally presented and accurately uploaded into Teachable.
