About the FIXD

At FIXD, we take the stress and worry out of car problems. FIXD breaks down car problems into simple, understandable terms and provides the price of the repair, so drivers don't get taken advantage of at a repair shop. The FIXD Sensor plugs into the diagnostic port of a driver’s car and communicates via Bluetooth to the FIXD app. Since 2014, we have helped diagnose over 10m vehicles in pursuit of our mission: to make car ownership as simple, easy, and affordable as possible.

In 2025, we launched a B2B business unit called AppraisalPRO, where we sell our solution to Dealerships and Enterprise customers as a used car trade-in evaluation tool.

The Role

We’re looking for a Controller to own and scale our accounting and financial operations as we continue to grow, ensuring strong controls, compliance, accurate reporting, and clear visibility into performance at the business unit level. You will work closely with the executive leadership team to drive performance through financial reporting.

What You’ll Do

• Own the Accuracy of All Financial Reporting: Monthly close (< 7 days), Revenue Recognition, Balance Sheet Reconciliations, P&L accuracy, Cashflow Reporting
• Daily Accounting Operations: build/optimize the Accounting Infrastructure, review bookkeeping, oversee inventory counts, cost audits
• Compliance: Tax, Audit, Regulatory. Maintain strong internal controls, ensure readiness for audits, manage relationships with external advisors/auditors
• Business Partner to the Founders: budget vs actual variance analysis, operational insights, evaluate capital allocation opportunities 

Compensation Expectations

• Base: 120k - 150k (dependent on experience)
• Bonus: 10-20% of base

Location Expectations:

• This role is based in Atlanta, GA, and will require being in the office 2-3 days per week.

Requirements

What We’re Looking For

• 4-6 years of experience in public accounting (Big 4 or strong regional firm)
• Experienced Senior or Manager-level preferred
• CPA or Masters of Accounting preferred
• Experience in eCommerce or SaaS businesses
• Strong understanding of Revenue Recognition, Inventory and COGS Accounting, Financial Controls
• High attention to detail without losing business context
