Join an elite outpatient Hand Therapy OT team in one of the largest clinics in the Bronx , where you’ll treat a diverse, complex caseload across adult and pediatric orthopedics , while working closely with surgeons at Montefiore Medical Center and contributing to cutting-edge research in a highly specialized clinical environment. As a OT - Hand Therapist, You’ll Achieve Success By:

• Reviewing patient medical history and developing individualized treatment plans
• Diagnosing patients by observing movements and listening to concerns
• Using exercises, stretching, equipment, and manual therapy to manage pain and improve mobility
• Recording patient progress and modifying treatment plans as needed

Occupational Therapist - Hand Therapist Requirements: 

• Licensed Occupational Therapist (or ability to obtain in the state of practice)
• Excellent work ethic and dedication to patient success
• Basic computer skills
• CPR and first aid certification required

• Certified Hand Therapist (CHT)strongly preferred  OR

  • CHT-eligible (minimum 4,000 hours of hand therapy experience and 3 years of practice ),  awaiting board examination ,  OR

  • Level II fieldwork in hand therapy , with  relevant continuing education , and 1–2 years of outpatient hand therapy experience as a  licensed OT, OR

  • New grads with Level II fieldwork in hand therapy with a a strong clinical interest in upper extremity rehabilitation and a commitment to pursuing advanced training and certification in hand therapy
• Experience in  orthopedic hand therapy treating both adult and pediatric patients is required . 

Compensation: $86K - $108K+ inclusive of productivity incentives, with additional compensation opportunities for certifications. Benefits include generous paid time off, medical, dental, vision, disability, and 401(K) with a 4% employer match.
