Under the general supervision of the Information Technology Supervisor I, the Information Technology Associate is responsible for cell sector routing for incoming 9-1-1 wireless calls. Daily routing requests for new cell sites, which require responses within 15 days. Analyze maps, utilizing Internet tools and Excel, to analyze call data and the routing of 9-1-1 cellular calls throughout the state of California. Coordination with 9-1-1 stakeholders including Wireless Service Providers, County Coordinators, Public Safety Answering Points, California Governor's Office of Emergency Services, and 9-1-1 Database Providers to ensure accurate delivery of wireless 9-1-1 calls. Analyze and make recommendations for wireless call routing related to Next Generation 9-1-1 and in conjunction with legacy cell sector routing.
