About Coeur d'Alene Resort:
Our resort prides itself on impeccable cleanliness and guest satisfaction. We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented janitor to oversee the Lakeview Terrace and ensure all areas meet our high standards.
The Role:
The Terrace Janitor is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance of the resort's lakeside terraces and outdoor guest areas to ensure a welcoming environment for guests and staff. This role includes daily cleaning of all exterior hard surfaces through sweeping, mopping, and spot cleaning, as well as arranging and resetting terrace furniture to meet operational needs. The position requires cleaning exterior glass surfaces such as railings, partitions, and windows, operating pressure washing equipment for routine and deep cleaning of terraces and walkways, and removing debris, stains, and environmental buildup. The Terrace Janitor will routinely inspect outdoor areas to identify and report safety hazards or maintenance concerns, while safely using and maintaining cleaning equipment and chemicals in accordance with company standards. Additional responsibilities include supporting seasonal cleanings, special projects, and event setups, while working efficiently to minimize disruption to guests. Candidates must maintain a professional appearance, provide courteous service, and be comfortable performing physically demanding work outdoors, including extended periods on their feet, lifting up to 75 pounds, and operating heavy equipment.
This is a full-time role, May-September
Key Responsibilities:
Utilize a pressure washer
Inspect all areas for cleanliness and safety compliance
Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment inventory
Report maintenance issues and coordinate with facilities teams
Ensure all safety and sanitation standards are followed
Must be able to regularly lift 50lbs. Occasionally will need to lift 100-15lbs
