Meter Reader Details:

• Temporary position
• $17.00 / hour
• Full Time work available
• First Shift ( Monday through Friday from 07:00am to 04:00pm )

• Read, record and verify electric and water usages using handheld devices
• Check for unusual consumptions and make notations for re-reads to prevent errors in the billing process
• Have the physical ability to walk or drive designated routes
• Inspect and report damaged meters, tampering or leaks
• Be able to communicate and answer meter reading questions and basic billing questions

Meter Reader Qualifications:

• Must be willing to work in all types of weather conditions
• Must have clean driving record
• Have the physical ability to walk, bend and kneel continuously

• Applicant may be subject to a background check
• Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
