Nursery Team Leader

The nursery team leader position is responsible for coordinating all aspects of the nursery activities for our client’s retail operations including coordinating deliveries and installations with company ground’s maintenance and installation team members.

Nursery Team Leader Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $18.00 to $25.00 / hour
• Full Time work available
• Weekend work required
• First Shift ( Monday through Sunday )

• Hours: Monday-Saturday: 9am-6pm and Sunday 10am-5pm (Working 40 hours per week with 1 designated day off each week) 
• Deliver superior customer service.
• Setup/tear down of nursery and greenhouse tables for seasonal changes at our retail location.
• Installation and/or tear out of landscape and general care of plants, shrubs, and trees; including but not limited to watering, fertilizing, weeding, and mulching.
• Unload/unpack any deliveries that come in and prepare for receiving /storage.
• Loading and Carry Out coverage, load products for customers, verify purchases to load ticket.

Nursery Team Leader Qualifications:

• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Able to work weekends and holidays.
• Seasonal hours will require overtime to be worked.
• Lifting 30-40 pounds repetitively
• Able to stand for 90% of shift.
• Previous greenhouse or landscaping experience required.
• Previous knowledge of plant design and biology preferred.
• Ability to identify and grow trees.
• Strong computer skills required.
• Certified Green Industry Professional preferred.
