To excel as a PRN Paramedic/EMT-B at Guttenberg Municipal Hospital & Clinics, you will need to possess a blend of technical skills and interpersonal attributes. A valid Iowa Advanced EMT or Paramedic Certification is essential, along with maintaining ongoing education and certifications from the IDPH Bureau of EMS, including Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, and Neonatal Resuscitation within one year of hire. A current Iowa Driver’s License is required, and PHTLS certification is preferred. Clinical knowledge is crucial for performing quality patient care duties effectively.
