About the Job
Cardiovascular Logistics is seeking a Peripheral Vascular Disease / Peripheral Interventional Fellow to join Cardiovascular Institute of the South, a highly respected cardiovascular practice serving communities across Louisiana and Mississippi.
This fellowship is led by Dr. Craig Walker and is designed for physicians who have already completed an interventional cardiology fellowship and are seeking advanced training in peripheral vascular intervention.
CIS was established in 1983 and has 21 locations throughout the Southeast, including office-based lab resources in Lafayette and an ASC/OBL in Gray, Louisiana. The practice includes 14 General Cardiologists, 43 Interventional Cardiologists, 6 Electrophysiologists, and 59 Advanced Practice Providers.
Position Highlights
• Peripheral Interventional Fellowship led by Dr. Craig Walker
• Designed for candidates who have completed an interventional cardiology fellowship
• Advanced peripheral vascular training within a large, established cardiovascular practice
• Access to hospital, clinic, OBL, and ASC/OBL settings
• Strong APP support, clinical mentorship, and physician-led practice structure
• Practice infrastructure includes 9 telecardiology sites and a virtual care center where NPs take first call for physicians
Qualifications
• Must have completed an interventional cardiology fellowship to qualify
• Strong interest in peripheral vascular disease and advanced peripheral intervention
• Board Certified / Board Eligible in the appropriate cardiovascular specialty
• Commitment to advanced procedural training, clinical excellence, and patient-centered care
