Product Owner (Contract Opportunity)

Location: Hunt Valley, MD (Hybrid)

Type: Short-Term Contract (3 Months)

Pay Rate: $43.00 – $50.00/hour

We are seeking a Product Owner for a 3-month contract engagement , ideal for someone who can make an immediate impact and quickly ramp in an Agile environment. This role focuses on driving product delivery, managing priorities, and partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver business value within a defined timeline. Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Planning:

• Define product vision and roadmap aligned with business goals.
• Leverage user feedback and market insights to guide decisions.

Backlog Management:

• Own and prioritize the product backlog.
• Translate requirements into clear user stories.
• Lead backlog grooming and refinement sessions.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

• Work cross-functionally with business, design, and engineering teams.
• Act as the main point of contact for product-related communication.
• Manage competing priorities and expectations.

Delivery & Execution:

• Support development teams in Agile ceremonies.
• Ensure timely, high-quality delivery within the contract timeline.
• Remove blockers and keep initiatives moving forward.

Required Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in a Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar role.
• Strong experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies .
• Experience with tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps .
• Background working with UX/UI teams .
• Bachelor’s degree required.

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP, CSPO, or similar certifications.
• Experience in SaaS environments.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and product lifecycle management.

This is a Contract position based out of Hunt Valley, MD 21031.

The pay range for this position is $43.00 - $50.00/hr.
