Product Owner — Reston, VA (Hybrid)

Location: Reston, Virginia, USA — Hybrid (onsite 1–2× per week). Type: W2, contract (12 months T2P).

Key Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the Product Backlog, writing clear user stories with well-defined acceptance criteria.
• Develop and align the product roadmap to business objectives and stakeholder priorities.
• Work closely with Scrum Masters, Business Analysts, Architects and engineers to translate vision into deliverables.
• Represent the business to the delivery team and make decisions on scope and priorities.
• Facilitate Joint Application Development (JAD) sessions and stakeholder workshops to define features and driving value.
• Support multiple scrum teams, coach teams on Agile practices, and promote continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant experience with at least 6 years in a Product Owner or similar product management role.
• Proven experience supporting ServiceNow implementations; familiarity with CSM, ITSM and/or CRM modules is required.
• Strong background in Agile/Scrum practices and product roadmap development; Product Owner or Agile certifications preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent professional experience; demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Experience writing user stories, defining MVPs, and working with cross-functional teams to deliver product outcomes.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused mindset for engaging internal and external stakeholders.
