Product Owner (ServiceNow Implementation)

Location: Reston, VA, USA — Hybrid (onsite 1-2 days/week) • Employment: W2 contractor (12-month T2P)

TechniPros is recruiting a Product Owner to lead ServiceNow implementation efforts and drive product value through strategic roadmaps and strong stakeholder collaboration. The role is ideal for an experienced Product Owner who excels at shaping product direction while working closely with Scrum teams and technical partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the Product Backlog, define acceptance criteria, and prioritize work to maximize business value.
• Develop and align the Product Roadmap with strategic goals by working with stakeholders, customers, and technical teams.
• Write clear user stories and break down epics into deliverable increments (MVP-focused).
• Serve as the business representative to the Scrum teams and make decisions on scope and acceptance.
• Facilitate Joint Application Development (JAD) sessions and collaborate on feature design and requirements.
• Coach teams on Agile practices and support improvements to delivery agility across multiple scrum teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum ~8 years of relevant experience with at least 6 years in a Product Owner role or equivalent responsibility in Agile environments.
• Proven experience supporting ServiceNow implementations and working with CSM, ITSM, and CRM modules.
• Strong expertise in building product roadmaps, managing product backlogs, and writing user stories.
• Certifications such as Product Owner, Scrum/Agile, or ServiceNow are preferred; equivalent professional experience will be considered.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and support several scrum teams in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with a focus on delivering business value.
