Job Description

We’re seeking a motivated Safety Coordinator to join a fast-paced logistics/manufacturing team where safety is a top priority. 

Salary is $48,000 annually (based on experience).

Schedule: 6am-6pm.

As the Safety Specialist, you’ll partner closely with operations leadership to promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with OSHA and company standards.

Key responsibilities: 

• Promote and maintain a safe working environment throughout the facility.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
• Conduct safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
• Investigate workplace incidents and assist with corrective action plans.
• Maintain safety documentation including OSHA logs, KPIs, and OHSMS reports.
• Conduct safety meetings, trainings, and new hire safety orientations.
• Provide forklift safety training and recertifications.
• Track safety trends and communicate findings to management.
• Develop and implement safety improvement initiatives.
• Partner with leadership to support ongoing safety programs and compliance efforts.
• Spend the majority of your time actively engaged on the production floor (75% floor / 25% office).

Requirements: 

• 2-3 years Safety experience preferred.
• High School Diploma.
• Valid Driver's License. 
• OSHA 30-hour certification required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills. 
• Problem solving and attention to detail.
