Security Officer

Jefferson Healthcare is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Security Officer to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of Jefferson Healthcare's property, employees, and patients. Your duties will include performing scheduled security foot patrols, reporting any unlawful activities to local law enforcement, defusing situations appropriately, protecting property from theft, trespassing, fire, and accidents, and safely escorting patients.

What you'll need:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • No moving traffic citations, at-fault accidents, or DUI convictions in the past 3 years
  • Have not had a driver's license denied, suspended, or revoked in the past 3 years
  • Maintains regulatory requirements, including all state and federal regulations.
  • JH De-escalation training completed within ninety (90) days of employment
  • Valid driver's license in the state of Washington required

Schedule : 1.0 FTE, 40hr/week; Shift times can vary
