What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff patients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures location-specific policies and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents disturbances and critical situations in a calm professional and problem-solving manner including notifying appropriate personnel and documenting relevant details.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings parking areas and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity unsecured areas and/or potential concerns.
• Monitor entrances exits and common areas to help control access observe visitor activity and report suspicious behavior according to site expectations.
• Support a welcoming environment by assisting with directions answering general questions and communicating with staff and/or first responders during security-related events.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
