Responsibilities:

  • Performs financial due diligence for clients who are acquiring and divesting businesses

  • Participates in client meetings and site visits while interacting with top-level management to obtain pertinent information for financial analysis

  • Prepares detailed financial and analytical analyses to help clients evaluate their acquisition decisions and financing requirements

  • Uses various software tools as designated by the firm

  • Interacts with the other functional areas of the practice including tax audit and other consulting practices

Required Qualifications:

  • A bachelors degree ideally with a major in accounting or finance

  • Minimum of 1 years experience in an Audit or Transaction Advisory practice within a national or regional public accounting or consulting firm

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint

  • Ability to travel up to 10-15% locally and nationally

At RSM an employees pay at any point in their career is intended to reflect their experiences performance and skills for their current role. The salary range (or starting rate for interns and associates) for this role represents numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including but not limited to education skills work experience certifications location etc. As such pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.

Compensation Range: $81400 - $153500

Individuals selected for this role will be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance.
