Overview
As a tower lead for our Michigan market, you will assist the crew foreman with site management duties that include tower and ground operations, sweep testing, tower maintenance and installation, coaxial and antenna installation and required RF testing, and related responsibilities in accordance with OSHA safety guidelines. Every day, you will interact with customers and subcontractors, and you will communicate with the foreman about work progress and known issues. You will also provide training, guidance, and work leadership to direct subordinate climbers/tower technicians to maximize safety and productivity, minimize costs, and maintain quality.
What We Need from You
In order to thrive in this role, you must be able to climb towers and work at heights up to 500 feet, performing manual labor in outdoor environments. You must possess basic computer skills and be able to complete/submit paperwork by required deadlines. Experience in the telecommunications industry, coupled with the following skills, is also desired:
