About the Role On behalf of our client, a global enterprise with an established corporate aviation and travel operation, we are seeking an experienced Travel Agent to join their Aviation and Travel team. Working closely with the Aviation and Travel Departments, this individual will support company employees with their travel arrangements across both corporate aircraft and commercial air travel to worldwide destinations. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented travel professional to contribute to a fast-paced, high-performing team within a large, worldwide organization.
Job Description In this role, you will manage the day-to-day functions of corporate travel, including making and processing air travel reservations, coordinating ground travel and hotel arrangements, and handling expense report processing. You will also assist with the Corporate Credit Card program and support additional projects as needed. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator and quick learner who thrives in a fast-paced office environment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities: - Manage all aspects of booking and processing domestic and international travel arrangements for company employees using Worldspan and other reservation methods
- Coordinate company plane schedules and passengers
- Learn and perform basic Concur functions
- Learn TRAMS back-office functionality
- Learn ARC reporting and requirements
- Assist with the Corporate Credit Card Program
- Support the Shared Services Team with expense auditing
- Contribute to the Aviation, Travel, and Treasury teams to ensure superior results are delivered
- Assist the Travel Manager with the operating plan, forecasts, and miscellaneous projects as assigned
Work Environment: Fast-paced office environment.
Qualifications Required Qualifications: - Minimum of 3 years of Travel Agent experience
- Strong Galileo experience
- Proficiency with a GDS system (Galileo strongly preferred; Worldspan experience a plus)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Teams, Outlook, OneNote, and Excel
- Strong analytical and organizational skills, with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines
- Proven decision-making abilities and a self-starter mindset
- Ability to interact professionally with internal travelers and senior management
Preferred Qualifications: - College degree (not required)
- Knowledge of ARC/IATAN regulations for maintaining an accredited travel agency (will train)
- Knowledge of the TRAMS accounting system and Concur
- Worldspan experience
