Overview
Registered Nurse, ER. Location: Hanford, California, United States. Start date: 08/17/2026. Duration: 8 weeks. Weekly pay range: $2,251-$2,420 per week. Guaranteed hours: not guaranteed. Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for ED patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Assess patient condition, monitor vital signs, and administer medications within scope of practice; document care comprehensively.
- Supervise and direct activities of nursing staff on shift, coordinating coverage and ensuring patient safety.
- Coordinate care with physicians and other disciplines; communicate changes in patient condition and plan ongoing treatment.
- Apply critical thinking and professional judgment to prioritize care and manage multiple patients in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements
- Active registered nurse license to practice in California or eligible to practice in California.
- Emergency department nursing experience or demonstrated competency in emergency care.
- Ability to work 12-hour day shifts totaling 36 hours per week.
- Current BLS certification.
- Strong communication skills and comfort working in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary ED setting.
