Job Description

We’re looking for an outgoing, friendly, and service-oriented team member to create a welcoming experience while assisting customers. This role is a specialized visual merchandising position focused on designing and maintaining displays within our gift and apparel departments inside our Ace Hardware store.

The ideal candidate will have experience in visual merchandising, with a strong understanding of apparel presentation as well as high-end home and gift décor brands. In addition to merchandising expertise, this role requires a background in retail sales and customer service, with the ability to engage a boutique-style clientele.

What to expect:

Primary responsibility: Uphold the Mission Statement of Southeast Ace: To be helpful and provide amazing

customer service while being a blessing to our Community and Team.

  • Design, create, and maintain visually appealing displays for gift and apparel areas that reflect seasonal trends, promotions, and brand standards
  • Arrange merchandise in a way that maximizes sales, highlights key products, and enhances the overall shopping experience
  • Regularly refresh floor sets and displays to keep the store looking new, engaging, and well-organized
  • Ensure all visual presentations align with company guidelines and support current marketing initiatives
  • Monitor inventory levels on the sales floor and restock or rotate merchandise as needed
  • Collaborate with Corporate Visual Merchandiser and store leadership on product placement, promotions, and merchandising strategies
  • Assist customers on the sales floor by providing product knowledge and personalized service
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of display areas, fixtures, and merchandise
  • Support receiving and processing of new merchandise, ensuring timely and accurate placement on the sales floor
  • Analyze sales trends and customer behavior to adjust displays for improved performance
  • You’ll be on your feet for most of your shift (6 to 8 hours).
