Job Description:
As a Web Application Developer, you will design, develop, and implement a secure eCheck (ACH) payment solution integrated with an enterprise Online Payment System. You will be responsible for creating a seamless and user-friendly payment experience while ensuring compliance with financial regulations and security standards. This role requires strong expertise in web application development, system integration, and payment processing, along with the ability to deliver scalable, reliable, and high-performance solutions in a regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop a secure web-based eCheck payment module integrated with existing payment systems
• Build and maintain customer-facing web interfaces ensuring usability and accessibility
• Develop backend services and APIs to support transaction processing and validation workflows
• Integrate payment solutions with enterprise and legacy systems
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and security standards such as PCI-DSS and NACHA
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical designs
• Conduct usability analysis and recommend improvements based on feedback and analytics
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to payment processing, performance, and system integration
• Document system architecture, workflows, and technical specifications
• Provide recommendations for scalability, system reliability, and future enhancements
• Support ongoing system maintenance, upgrades, and production support activities
• Participate in code migration and version control processes using modern tools
• Utilize DevOps tools for work tracking, CI/CD pipelines, and release management

Required Skills, Experiences, Education, and Competencies:

• Strong experience in web application development using modern frameworks and technologies
• Experience developing payment systems, particularly ACH or eCheck solutions
• Proficiency in backend development and API design (REST/ SOAP)
• Experience with frontend technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript
• Knowledge of secure coding practices and data protection standards
• Familiarity with financial compliance requirements including PCI-DSS and NACHA guidelines
• Experience integrating applications with enterprise and legacy systems
• Strong troubleshooting and performance optimization skills
• Experience with version control systems such as Git and DevOps tools
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, regulated environment and deliver high-quality solutions

The hourly range for roles of this nature are $45.00 to $80.00/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills, experience, location, and industry.
