Job Title: Website Virtual Assistant

Engagement Type: Full - Time

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Website Virtual Assistant to support Wendi Watson with updating and enhancing her website. The ideal candidate will have experience working with website builders and content management systems, possess a strong eye for design and user experience, and be comfortable making website updates independently.

The primary objective is to refresh and improve the website while ensuring all information is accurate, visually appealing, and aligned with the brand.

Key Responsibilities

Website Updates & Revamp

• Review the current website and identify areas for improvement..

• Update existing website pages with revised content and information..

• Improve the overall look, feel, and user experience of the website..

• Ensure consistency in branding, formatting, and layout across all pages..

Team Page Updates

• Update the Team Page with current team member information, photos, biographies, and relevant details..

• Ensure all profiles are professionally presented and accurate..

Gallery Page Creation

• Create and design a new Gallery Page..

• Upload and organize photos showcasing business activities, events, achievements, and company culture..

• Ensure images are optimized and displayed professionally..

Website Maintenance & Optimization

• Test website functionality after updates..

• Ensure pages are mobile-friendly and responsive..

• Identify broken links, outdated information, or design inconsistencies..

• Recommend improvements to enhance user engagement and navigation..

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience managing and updating websites..

• Experience with website builders and content management systems (WordPress, Wix, Squarespace, Kajabi, or similar)..

• Strong attention to detail and design aesthetics..

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines..

• Excellent communication and project management skills..

• Experience creating and organizing website content and image galleries..

Preferred Qualifications

• Basic graphic design skills using Canva or similar tools..

• Understanding of website user experience (UX) best practices..

• Familiarity with SEO fundamentals..

• Experience performing website audits and recommending improvements..

Success Metrics

• Website pages updated accurately and on schedule..

• Team Page fully updated with current information..

• Gallery Page successfully created and populated..

• Overall, the website's appearance and functionality have improved..

• Positive client feedback on the completed revamp project..

Important Note

This role is initially project-based and intended to support a website revamp. The selected VA should understand that there is no guarantee of ongoing work beyond the initial project phase.

If the project is completed successfully and the results meet expectations, there may be an opportunity for the VA to continue supporting the website on an ongoing maintenance basis. However, this should not be assumed, and expectations should be managed accordingly.
